Rep tryout registration and House League roster registration
are both available now on Spordle. For House League, we encourage families to register as early as possible to secure a spot for the upcoming season.
We are eagerly awaiting confirmation from the City of Elliot Lake regarding our return to the Rogers Arena, but we have not yet been given an official opening date. That said, we remain hopeful that we will be back on home ice this fall. In the meantime, to ensure we get our season started smoothly, we have secured ice time in Massey beginning with Open Skates on September 8th.
We know that starting the season in Massey may present some challenges for families, and after listening carefully to feedback at our Annual General Meeting in May, the ELMHA Executive has made the decision to lower registration fees for the 2025–2026 season to help offset initial travel costs:
- U7 Timbits will have one practice per week. The registration fee has been reduced by $200.00.
- U9 to U18 teams will continue with two practices per week and will see a $100.00 reduction in registration fees.
- Rep and Volunteer fees will remain unchanged from last season.

As with last year, payments are in a set schedule to help families plan accordingly:
A $100.00 non-refundable deposit is due by September 1st to secure your child’s roster spot and to ensure they are covered for insurance during open skates.
50% of the registration fee must be paid by September 21st.
Full payment of all fees are required by October 20th in order for players to be eligible to hit the ice for our first games of the season.
We’re excited to announce a Hockey Equipment Sign-Out Day for families in August (exact date and time to be announced soon)! Thanks to the generous donations from Kraft Hockeyville, we now have brand-new equipment available for kids of all ages and sizes. This will be a one-day, first-come, first-served event, where families can sign out gear for the season at absolutely no cost.
From skates to pads to sticks — we’ve got a wide variety of gear to help our players get suited up and ready to hit the ice. Stay tuned for more info in the coming weeks!
We’d like to take a moment to recognize and celebrate our amazing volunteer coaches, who have once again stepped up to lead our players this season. Updates on Rep coaches and additional House League bench staff will be shared once team numbers are finalized and consultations with the Blind River Minor Hockey Association are complete.
