Fundraising is Key to Our Association
Fundraising is a crucial for the success of Elliot Lake Minor Hockey. It helps cover the cost of ice rentals, equipment and officials allowing children in the community to participate in the great sport of hockey. Registration fees and volunteer fees also contribute to these costs, however are not sufficient to cover everything. Volunteering and fundraising are very important for our organization.

Team Fundraisers
Throughout the season, teams may participate in individual fundraisers. Check with your team manager for more details, and/or visit the
Elliot Lake Minor Hockey Facebook Page for the most up-to-date info.
Are you a Team Manager?
Please
fill out this fundraising request form at least two (2) weeks prior to your fundraiser. The ELMHA must approve the fundraiser before any arrangements are made.
Volunteering
Elliot Lake Minor Hockey is a volunteer run organization. In an effort to run the league and keep registration fees reasonable, each family needs to participate in volunteering and fundraising. Registration and volunteer fees go towards, but do not completely cover the cost of ice fees, officials, banquets, etc.
Volunteering can earn you back your fees and run a great league!
Opportunities to volunteer:
- Board executive (voted on annually at the Annual General Meeting)
- Team staff - Coaches, Trainers, Managers
- Bingo
- Various fundraising events
- Time keeping
